VIRGINIA DRIVER'S MANUAL / Re-examination

Description

An 8 Hour course where you will study the Virginia Manual. 

You will learn about traffic signs, Virginia law and fines. 

This course will prepare you to pass your written test at DMV and obtain your Learner’s Permit. 

You could also take this course if it is required by DMV after failing three times.

After successfully completing the course, you will be eligible to take the general knowledge exam for the fourth time and thereafter.

Description

In this course you will be behind the wheel, on the road for 14 hours.

7 sessions of 50 minutes of driving and 7 sessions of 50 minutes observing another student drive.

At the end of the course, you will be tested for your Virginia State driver's license.

Course Details

• Prerequisite: Learning Permit, proof of having completed the Road Education Course.
• Age: 16 years, 3 months and older
• Attendees: 2 driving students
• Instructor: Instructor approved by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in Virginia
• Course Hours: 14 hours (7 hours driving, 7 hours observing)

Description

These individual driving sessions are conducted with a DMV-approved Driving Instructor for those who want to learn how to drive, are new to driving, and/or need more practice behind the wheel.  These sessions will help prepare you for the Behind the Wheel class or for the hands-on Road test at the DMV which are needed to obtain a driver's license in Virginia.

Description

This course requires 36 hours–50-minute lessons written by the Department of Education. 

Driver Education is required part of the teenage licensing in Virginia. 

This Driver Education Course is DMV required for Students who have failed the DMV Knowledge test Three Times.

• Age: 15 years 6 months or older
• Class language available: Spanish and English
• Number of hours: 36 hours in classroom (not behind the wheel)

Virginia Law

Students who have passed a Driver Education Course, may take the eight (8) hour Virginia Driver’s Manual Course as Re-examination. Students must present a copy of the DEC-1 form (green card-stating Student has completed and passed the In-class Driver Education).

Completing this course will adequately prepare you to pass your written test at the DMV and obtain your Learner’s Permit. 

Additionally, if you find yourself needing to retake the test after three attempts, this course is a requirement by the DMV.

After successfully completing the course, you will be eligible to attempt the general knowledge exam for the fourth time and beyond.
